- How can we portray Singapore through youtube : help our music scene
In Malaysia they seem to push their local music more strongly. There are demo tapes.
In Singapore this fraternity is really small. Alot of the artistes lament the fact that they cannot gain an iron rice bowl out of their music. Youtube is easily accessible for music enthusiasts to play something they want to voice through their music, no need for cutting of CDs.
Because Singapore market is small, putting it to international audience through youtube would help. Broadcast yourself.

Great brother is always watching. US websites are also regulated by their government (yes?)

I have a feeling the government is actually using youtube...US army is using it to recruit, and Uniquely Singapore ads are on youtube!

NUS/NTU students frequently use it to put up their own videos( self expression)
